How You Can Support Us

As a small charity, The Welbeloved Club relies on kind donations and small grants to continue running. Our monthly charges for lunch cover food and venue costs, but we have a number of other running costs including insurance, equipment, transport and admin support that we need in order to keep going.

 

The best thing about supporting a small, local charity? You get to see EXACTLY where your money goes! You can request your donation to be spent on a specific cost or leave it to us to decide. Either way, we will always let you know what your generosity has enabled us to do.

 

There are a number of ways in which you can support us:

 

• You can donate to us directly – via bank transfer, cash donations or via cheque (please make cheques payable to 'The Welbeloved Club'). You can also use the QR code on this page to donate via PayPal, or use the email jo@thewelbelovedclub.com. Payments for items such as Christmas Cards can also be made this way!

• Perhaps you could host a fundraiser (a Charity Ball, Quiz Night to name a few) for The Welbeloved Club?

• You could complete a Challenge Event for The Welbeloved Club – maybe a Marathon or a Sky Dive has always been on your bucket list?
   

• You can shop and support us! We are signed up to The Giving Machine, which enables you to support us through your purchases at no extra cost to you. We are also signed up to the PayPal Giving Fund, which means you can make a voluntary donation to us at the checkout (when paying via PayPal). Just select us as your charity on all of these platforms and shop ‘til you drop!
   

• Corporate and Community groups can support us by selecting us as their Charity of the Year. Some Corporate groups are also in a position to match-fund us for any fundraising activities - please get in touch for more info.

• We are always looking to distribute our collection pots across the community and beyond – could you display one in your shop, pub, café or office?
   

• We have our own Charity Christmas Cards on sale during the festive season, priced at £3.50 for a pack of 10, or 2 for £6. Please get in touch to purchase!

• You can now purchase lottery tickets via the East Herts Lottery, with 50% of every ticket sale coming to us when you select us as your charity.
