Lunch Dates and Activities

Simply click the lunch event you're interested in to see the menu.

Our delicious meals are cooked by Doris Welbeloved’s Granddaughter, Gill. The menu is also written by Gill, and includes a variety of different dishes dependent on the time of year. Together with a team of volunteers, our meals are prepared from scratch, and include a variety of fresh vegetables, locally sourced meat and ‘top-notch’ roast potatoes. This is followed by homemade, lovingly baked puddings – Gill’s speciality.

Gill has years of experience in the kitchen and catering for large groups. She holds a level 3 qualification in food safety & hygiene, and all of our volunteers in the kitchen hold a level 2 in food safety & hygiene.

As well as lunch meetings, The Welbeloved Club hosts a variety of different activities throughout the month. Please take a look at our calendar to see What’s On!
